TypeTale Technology Limited ("we", "us", or "our") operates the TapReel mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

  • Account management — creating and authenticating your account, sending verification codes.
  • Content personalization — recommending dramas based on your viewing history and preferences.
  • Playback progress sync — remembering where you left off across devices.
  • User interactions — enabling likes, favorites, and comments on content.
  • Security & fraud prevention — rate limiting, detecting abuse, and protecting the platform.

All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Your data is stored on secured servers with access controls, encryption at rest where applicable, and regular security audits.

While we implement commercially reasonable security measures, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Retention Exceptions

  • Legal compliance records — retained when required by law enforcement requests, court orders, or regulatory obligations.

Such retained data is kept in anonymized or pseudonymized form where feasible and is not used for any purpose other than compliance and security.

7. How to Delete Your Data

You can request deletion of your account and associated data through either method:

  1. In-app: Go to Me > Edit Profile > Delete Account and follow the prompts.
  2. Web: Visit https://www.tapreel.tv/account/delete and submit a deletion request.

Both methods require email verification. Once confirmed, your account and personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days, subject to the retention exceptions above.

TapReel is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at swjtumzx@gmail.com, and we will promptly delete such data.
